چکیده

The purpose of this study was to determine the efficacy of Yalom therapy group on Obsessive-compulsive disorder and perfectionism in menopausal women Shiraz city. The research method was quasi-experimental with pretest-posttest with experimental and control groups. The population of the study consisted of all menopausal women to Shiraz. Among the with menopausal women , ۳۰ clients were selected using Convenience Sampling method Y-BOCS Questionnaire and perfectionism Questionnaire Inventory as pre-tests. They were randomly assigned to experimental and control groups. The experimental group received ۱۰ sessions ۹۰-minutes Yalom therapy group, and were tested again. The results showed that there was a significant difference between pre-test and post-test in the level of Obsessive-compulsive disorder and perfectionism in this group. This study showed that Yalom therapy group is effective in reducing Obsessive-compulsive disorder and perfectionism in sufferers’ menopausal women.
