چکیده

Emotional divorce, which is the coldness of the couple's emotional relationship and soullesscontinuation of married life, can lead to divorce. The purpose of this article is to show that the bodycan be effective on emotional divorce. Because the modern era is based on individualism and thesearch for one's goals and desires is the guide of men, they choose a desired lifestyle and evaluatemarriage according to personal satisfaction. If they are not satisfied with their marital relationship,they no longer see themselves bound to its continuation. Therefore, the body, which is based onindividuality, has become an important factor in the emotional relationship of couples, and itsweakness can lead to dissatisfaction with life together. The survey results of a prospective sample ofmarried women aged ۱۸ to ۴۵ living in the Tehran showed that there is a significant negativerelationship between emotional divorce and physical-mental health and sexual satisfaction. Theseresults indicate that the weakening of the body and the coldness of the sexual relationship are due tothe weakening of the emotional relationship of the couple, which may lead to divorce
