چکیده
Gothic literature contains different types terrifying characters that may belong to ancient myth or mysterious animals. One of these animals is raven as Edgar Allan Poe used it many times in his gothic short stories and poems. Ted Hughes has also used this demonic figure for his collection of poems named The Crow. Another common gothic figure was patching up human and animal parts in order to create a scary character. In ۱۸۱۸, Mary Shelly`s idea was to create a Monster only using human`s body parts, a terrifying character created by Victor Frankenstein in Marry Shelly`s Frankenstein novel. The way these gothic characters deal with their environment and how they interpret it has always been a question. Moreover, these gothic figures need to know who their creator was and the role of that creator in bringing up their creation in undeniable. This study compares two gothic works of art I just mentioned and the relationship between creator and creation in both will be explainedکلیدواژه ها
