چکیده

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the strength of major shareholders and the quality of corporate governance in companies listed on the Tehran Stock Exchange. The statistical sample includes 50 companies during the period 1390 to 1397. This research is descriptive-correlational and is considered practical in terms of the type of research. The hypothesis test was performed using multivariate linear regression and combined data method. The results showed that there is a positive and significant relationship between the ratio of voting rights held by major shareholders and the quality of the company's management system and also there is a positive and significant relationship between the ratio of voting rights held by major shareholders with the quality of company's board of directors.
