Mental retardation is a disorder that causes a failure in a person's intellectual and adaptive functioning in social, practical and conceptual fields. The experimental group performed exercises on the trampoline for ۸ weeks, three one-hour sessions per week, and the control group did not receive any intervention. After the intervention, the post-test was similar to the pre-test . The results of mixed anova showed that rhythmic exercises with music on the trampoline had a significant effect on the fine motor skills and balance of the mentally retarded children, so that %۱۹ of the changes in the fine motor skills and balance of the children were affected by these types of exercises. Rhythmic exercises with music on the trampoline are effective in rehabilitating mentally retarded children and this method can be used in motor rehabilitation of these children in schools.
