Nurses' performance in smart hospitals: A review of studies

چکیده مقاله:

The use of digital technology-based systems in hospitals and medical centers has played a useful role in improving the diagnosis and treatment of various diseases. hospitals as one of the most important social organizations and nurses as the largest health care group have a significant role in improving and providing health services. Therefore, the present study was conducted to determine hospital intelligence's role in nurses' work quality.Methods: In this narrative review by searching the databases of Web of sciences, Scopus, PubMed, SID Magiran in the last ten years using the keywords "intelligence," "information technology," "nurses," "hospital," "Quality of work", without limitation in the type of study, 47 articles were obtained. The writing of the present article, after removing duplicate articles, was done only as an abstract and out of proportion to the purpose.Results: A review of 7 studies demonstrated the benefits of using smart infrastructure in hospitals and medical centers in the area of nurses 'duties, including improving response time, transmitting patients' needs more accurately, controlling the patient's diet and medication, monitoring and controlling environmental conditions (such as light, temperature, etc.), quick access to patients' medical history, the possibility of providing remote medical services, better management of drugs, reduction of prescription errors, better time management in emergencies and emergencies, reduction of tests and duplicates with access to patient history Improve the management of diseases such as a corona, reduce the workload of nurses, provide shifts and workflow of nurses.Conclusion: The studies about the effect of hospital intelligence on nurses 'work quality show a significant increase in the quality of nurses' work. Therefore, it is suggested that the authorities, by spending money on this matter, prevent possible future problems and costs caused by dissatisfaction, low quality of work, and burnout.
