Background and Aim : Resiliency is a dynamic process to achieve successful adaptation in the face of life s challenges and threats. Since recovered women have often uncomfortable feeling to life, the aim of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of life skills on resiliency in recovered women.Methods : In this quasi-experimental study, a group of 22 recovered women in Gilan province selected using the convenience sampling were evaluated. To collect the information, Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale (CD-RISC) (2003) was used. Training was conducted in 10 sessions of 90 minutes once a week, in the form of frequently asked questions (FAQ s) workshop and a role management by experienced professors. After completion of the sessions, the group was subjected to post-test. Paired t-test was used to analyze the data.Results : The results indicated that life skills training had a significant difference on resiliency variable. So that the average score of resiliency in the post-test has increased compared to the pre-test representing that life skills training has led to the promotion of resiliency in recovered women.Conclusion : Life skills training has a positive effect on the promotion of resiliency among people of the community, especially the recovered women, and empowers one s life skills to enable her knowledge, attitudes and values and makes him to have a more normal behavior.
