چکیده مقاله:

During recent decades, the increase in traffic load on the roads has caused the performance of asphalt pavement to undergo significant changes during its useful life. For this reason, the use of different materials in improving the behavioral characteristics of asphalt mixtures has always been the focus of many researchers, so that they can increase the lifetime of asphalt pavement. The use of modified bitumen is always one of the methods that has been paid attention by various researchers to overcome the shortcomings of pure bitumen and to improve the physical and mechanical properties of bitumen and, as a result, to improve pavement performance. Improving the properties of bitumen increases its quality and increases its useful efficiency. Nano materials are one of the main additives used for bitumen modification. Modifying bitumen with nano materials improves its properties, but despite this, one of the biggest challenges of using some nano materials is the way these materials disperse in other materials. It is suggested that it is better to use these materials in a dilution, initially spread and then mixed with other materials. In addition, it can be found that the addition of nanomaterials can significantly improve the properties of bitumen, such as increasing the resistance at high temperatures and resistance to aging, fatigue and moisture damage, and as a result, the performance of the asphalt mixture in the long-term improves.
