چکیده مقاله:

مباحث این مقاله حول دو محور اصلی است. محور اول به ملاحظاتی روش‌‌‌شناختی در باب استفاده از مفاهیم فیزیکی و ترمودینامیکی در اقتصاد، مقایسةآن‌‌ها با یک‌دیگر، و نقد آن‌ها می‌پردازد. محور دوم به استفاده از رویکرد ترمودینامیک در نظام توزیعی سرمایه‌داری می‌پردازد. در این زمینه، با تکیه بر مفهوم آنتروپی از دیدگاه مکانیک آماری و با استفاده از دو مدل قانون حداکثرسازی آنتروپی (توزیع ثروت بولتزمن) و همچنین مدل ترمودینامیکی فرایند کارنو، توزیع ثروت در نظام سرمایه‌داری تبیین می‌شود. نتایج این تحقیق نشان می‌دهد که بر طبق قانون حداکثرسازی آنتروپی، اقلیّت ثروت‌مند جامعه در وضعیت حداکثر آنتروپی قرار ندارند و در‌نتیجه‌، وضعیت آن‌ها انحرافی از وضعیت مانای توزیع ثروت در جامعه است، همچنین طبق مدل کارنو حداکثرسازی کارایی در فرایند تولید مستلزم حداکثرسازی شکاف عایدی طبقات ثروت‌مند با دست‌مزد طبقات کم‌‌‌درآمد است و این امر منجر به افزایش شدید و روزافزون شکاف ثروت در اغلب کشورهای نظام سرمایه‌داری شده‌است.
