چکیده مقاله:

Back ground and Aim:Traditional teaching methods such as lectures and seminars are of ten used to train medical students.These methods are described as dense.Teachers today face different challenges than their ancestors in teaching tomorrow’s students. Electronic games can be an effective tool for teaching medical content.An educational game is in troduced as a competitive activity with a set of rules and procedures .The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of computer-based games on teaching medical science .courses Search Method:This search was conducted in SID, PubMed, ScienceDirect, Scopus, Google scholar, Springer with the keywords of computer games, medical science education, serious games in the period 2000 to 2019.Related articles to the study based on entry criterial the simultaneous presence of both variables of computer games, medical science edu cation in the summery of the study and the date of publication of the articles from 2000 to 2019 and the withdrawal lack of access to the full text by one researcher independently examined 38 articles, 18 articles were selected attar qualitative evaluation and used in the .present study Results:Educational games enhance our understanding, analysis and evaluation.They make learning fun and also reduce stress and anxiety And provide useful points for discussion. Game-based learning and its application in continuing medical education is very important.Games have several benefits including competition through motivation,enhanced commu.nication and social interaction and teamworkConclusion:Overall results show that computer games have had a significant cultural, social, economic, political and technological impact on society.Serious games are an innova tive approach to training medical professionals.Expected income in terms of better patient .care and error prevention provides a solid argument for investing in such developments
