چکیده
Background & Aims: Autism is a brain disorder that limits one s ability to communicate with others. Differences in the nervous and brain systems cause the person to act differently and may have difficulty communicating with others, with interest in limited activities, repetition of specific behavior patterns, or behavior patterns in social interactions. Materials & Methods: This is a case-control study in which the case group is composed of individuals with autism and the control group or the same control group includes healthy individuals who were compared in the two groups. The population used in this study is all children who have been diagnosed with autism in West Azarbaijan health centers in 2016. Results: According to the results of the present study, there was no significant difference between the groups in terms of rubella and chickenpox (p> 0.05), but the distribution of epilepsy was statistically significant (p = 0.002). Conclusion: Although autism spectrum disorders are becoming more and more prevalent in scientific societies today, issues such as more accurate and efficient diagnostic methods, prevalence rates and the best treatments are some of the ambiguities.کلیدواژه ها
