Introduction: Exclusive breastfeeding is the best option for the infant that satisfies physiological and spiritual needs until the sixth month and reduces some infections. The present study aimed to determine the prevalence of exclusive breastfeeding until the sixth month and the related factors Method: in infants who refer to the Healthcare Center of Koohrang city. Method: This study is a descriptive and analytical study on the healthcare centers of Koohrang city in 2018. The sample size was estimated by Morgan’s tale as 325 infants. Data were gathered by questionnaire and analyzed by SPSS. Result: In this study, 170 (52.30%) males and 155 (47.69%) females participated. On the other hand, 111 (65.29%) subjects were breastfeeders and girls and 139 subjects (89.67) were breasfeeders. In this study, gender, birth weight, and birth interval had a significant relationship. Multiple factors such as birth rank, birth interval, birth weight, gender, age, type of delivery, mother’s job, anxiety, economic and social statues, awareness, inaccurate weighting, and use of milk powder are among the factors that affect infant nutrition. Conclusion: Necessary measures should be employed to increase awareness of people by the healthcare system of the count.
