Skin is one of the most sensitive parts of the body and its maintenance is important for human beauty. Herbal products have fewer side effects than chemicals and have pharmacological effects on the skin, so these are used in cosmetic purposes. Previous researches have shown extraction of L. Hypericum perforatum (Hoofarigon), is used in the special cosmetic productions for oily skin and for the treatment of skin complications like shingles skin lesions and strengthening fragile skin. In addition, Hypericum perforatum prevent wrinkles and makes the skin soft and transparent. This herb repairs the wounds and has antibacterial effects and used in the treatment of burns and sunburn. In one study, the ointment containing the extracts of L. Hypericum perforatum led faster burn treatment while showed antiseptic effects. In addition, it is used to repair skin inflammation and skin cancer.The active ingredients in this herb include hyperforin and hypressin. Hyperurin in rose flowers stimulates the differentiation of keratinocytes and the formation of creatine, restores the damaged structure of the epidermis and thereby improves cracked foot. Hypericin and the pseudocysteine in the extract of roseifera increase the number of fibroblast cells and collagen granules and reduce the number of old, dead cells. As a result, the oily extract of this plant accelerates the process of improving cracked feet. In addition, the hyperfluorine is in this plant has anti-inflammatory properties. This active ingredient inhibits cyclooxygenase 1 and 5-lipoxygenase enzymes, thus preventing the production of PGE2 and LTB4, which are inflammatory agents.
