Introduction: According to statistics of 2013, the third costly disorder after cancer and cardiovascular disease. Basically wound define as one skin injury arising from physical and chemical injuries. Wound reconstructionCongress expressed exactly define for wound. ( destruction of anatomical and functional structure of the skinFindings: The speed of wound improvement depends on many factor including: the size of the wound, drainage side of wound , age, patient health and diet , the effect of microorganism around the wound, the circadian rhythm and the effect of many hormones such as estrogen. Many medicines used in wound healing with the chemical and herbal origin. It has recently been expanded to investigate the medical properties of herbs effective in wound heling. Such as a plant: Glaucium corniculatum curt, Satureja bachtiarica, Melissa officinalis, ziziphus spina, Althaea officinalis, Lawsonia inermis.New and more effective physical treatments have been added to wound healing: Low power laser, photodynamic therapy design of new molecules by TrAp method, medical engineering techniques, skin sample replication, TNT technology, and the development of a genetic coding chip for skin cellsTopical injection and use of cellular colony stimulating factors, treatment with bone marrow, adipose, cord and epithelial stem cells, use of PDGF gene therapy and platelet-derived growth factor transfer.Conclusion: Wound as an independent tissue injury or a complication of the underlying disease plays an important role in disease burden. Therefore, today there are numerous pharmacological, genetic and physical methods for wound healing to reduce the cost of treatment of diseases and their wounds.
