Introduction: Based on statistics, 15 percent of the diabetic patients suffer from diabetic foot ulcers. Lack of care from these patients results in increased mortality, decreased quality of life and developing mental and hygienic issues among them. Also, there are many factors affecting self-efficacy and self-care of diabetic foot ulcer patients. The aim of this study was to determine the effect of spiritual care and social support on diabetic foot ulcer patients self-efficacy.Methods: The present study is a narrative review done by paper analysis in search engines, reliable sites and databases ie; Pubmed, Google Scholar, Embase, Science direct, Springer, SID and Magiran to review the related articles, summarize the data, achieve the aim of the study and to understand it and writing Result Reports. Generally 70 papers with relevant titles were found in Persian and English language from 2009 to 2019 and were used as references. Findings: Improvements in self-care behaviors such as spiritual care had significant direct relation with increase of self-efficacy. On social support, developing social issues, anti-social behaviors and poor financial conditions had been reported significant relation with the patients self-efficacy increase and a successful marriage, efficient communication with other diabetic patients, more attendance in social environments and high education had been directed significant relation with the patients self-efficacy increase. Moreover, educating is a strategy which improves spiritual care and efficient social support. Besides, multi-dimensional team educating in female groups and younger ages has improved the possibility of increase in the patients self-efficacy.Conclusion: Generally, spiritual care and social support increase self-efficacy among patients suffering from diabetic foot ulcers. Likewise, determining the patients needs and increasing the progressive behaviors of spiritual health and social support such as; educating the patient and the family is effective. On the other hand, it is of paramount importance that the educating content on the spiritual care and the patients beliefs be accordant.
