چکیده
Background and Aim : Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of cognitive-behavioral stress management on quality of life and interpersonal (social and emotional) adaptation of addicts under treatment with methadone maintenance.Methods : Method: This research was a quasi-experimental and pre-test post-test design with control group. Using simple random sampling method, 30 addicts from MMT centers in Shiraz who had a low score in the quality of life questionnaire and the social-emotional Bell s social adjustment questionnaire were selected. Research samples after homogenization randomly divided into two experimental (15 subjects ( and control groups (15 subjects) ) Were divided. The experimental group received a cognitive-behavioral stress management training program for 10 sessions of 2 hours and the control group did not receive any training program.Results : Results: The results of covariance analysis indicated the effectiveness of cognitive-behavioral stress management training on increasing the level of social-emotional adjustment and quality of life in the experimental group compared with the control group.Conclusion : Conclusion: Considering the above results that show the effectiveness of cognitive-behavioral stress management therapy on interpersonal adjustment and quality of life, this treatment can be used as an effective treatment to increase the compatibility and quality of life of addictsکلیدواژه ها
