چکیده
Background and Aim : The purpose of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of positive psychotherapy on improving the quality of life of addicts in treatment of Varamin.Methods : : The present study was a quasi-experimental design with pretest-posttest design with control group. The statistical population of this study was narcotic addicts who referred to the addiction abusers centers of Varamin in 1398, and 36 of them were selected by purposeful sampling and randomly assigned to experimental and control groups. Positive-based psychotherapy based on quality of life during 10 sessions was performed on the participants in the experimental group, while the control group received no intervention. A quality of life questionnaire was used to collect data.Results : The results showed that positive psychotherapy has been effective in improving the components of physical health, mental health and social communication.Conclusion : This intervention method, which consists of a combination of positive psychology and cognitive-behavioral approach, can be used as an effective therapeutic approachکلیدواژه ها
