چکیده

Background and Aim : : Addiction and substance abuse or substance dependence in the world is one of the major problems in the collapse of the family and community system. The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between the identity styles and social adaptation in methamphetamine abuser referring to Farabi hospital in Kermanshah in 2018Methods : This was a cross-sectional study in which 200 methamphetamine abuser who were referred to Farabi Hospital in 1396-97 were examined. Using a checklist and social compatibility questionnaire, identity styles. Data were analyzed using SPSS 22 softwareResults : There is a meaningful relationship between identity styles and social adjustment in methamphetamine users (P < 0.05). Between identity styles with social adjustment in methamphetamine users aged less than 40 years old, married, both male and female, with education both under the diploma, as well as diploma and university, with unemployed job status, housekeeper and There is a meaningful relationship (P < 0.05).Conclusion : : Considering the identity styles with social compatibility in methamphetamine users, the identification of risk groups and preventive and therapeutic interventions for methamphetamine users is recommended and recommended.
