چکیده

Background and Aim : The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of eight weeks of recreational activities on the methadone consumption of methadone-treated addicts in a quasi-experimental research. The statistical population of the study consisted of all methadone-treated male addicts who were referred to the sleep deprivation clinic in the first half of 1394.Methods : The sample size was 16 people who were selected from the community based on the level of interest and participation of the participants and voluntarily selected in the experimental group. In the first stage, the subjects responded to the questionnaire of 13 researched materials. In the second stage, they participated in the recreational training for eight weeks, and in the third stage, after the necessary training, the rate of consumption was assessed in two four-weekly intervals. Results : The findings indicated that the rate of consumption in the first four weeks After exercise, it did not change significantly before exercising (Pvalu> 0.311, F = 16.69). However, the amount of exercise in the second four weeks of exercise was significantly reduced compared to before exercise. (Pval = 0.033, F = 16.5). The results of the repeated-test statistical analysis showed that eight weeks of activity and recreational exercise had an effect on the consumption of methadone in addicted individuals more than four weeks of exercise. Conclusion : Therefore, the results of the study indicated that eight weeks of recreational activities had an effect on the amount of methadone consumed by addicted adults.
