چکیده
The integration of hypnotic work with polyvagal theory is both easy and useful in psychotherapeutic field.The polyvagal theory developed by Dr. Stephen Porges (1994) refers to the construction and operation of the autonomic nervous system and the role of the vagus nerve. This theory allows a better understanding of the mind-body relationship and indicates that social behavior and emotional life are biologically based. In the course of human development, its anatomical structure and organ functions have been subordinated to the overriding goal of social engagement. Research conducted by Porges shows that the nervous system reacts to stimuli from the environment in a hierarchical and not balanced way. This means that the priority is the ability to regulate emotionally and make it easier to seek contact with other people.Although the theory itself is not a therapeutic tool, the conclusions affectedby it are of key importance for building cooperation in hypnosis and creating more effective interventions. A specialist aware of how the psychological and physiological state are connected to each other can build therapeutic interventionsin a much more effective way, even before he begins to express them.کلیدواژه ها
