چکیده

Background: Preeclampsia is one of the most serious cases of high-risk pregnancies, which jeopardizes the health of women globally, especially in developing countries. Preeclampsia is a specific pregnancy syndrome with a prevalence of about 14-7%, one of the three main causes of the death of pregnant women. Preeclampsia in Iran is the second most common cause of maternal mortality and accounts for 14% of mothers deaths. The main goal of this research is to design and implement a self-care Android-based application for preeclampsia.Methods: This is an applied research that was done to implement a mobile-based self-management application. To analyze the data needs In this phase, 42 specialist related to the topic of work at the Amir_almomenin hospital affiliated to SUM participated. The program was then evaluated by 7 physicians and finally, the suggestions provided by the users were applied in the design and the final version of the program was completed. Then using a standard evaluation questionnaire on user usability and satisfaction evaluation by 20 pregnant women, they were evaluated.Results: The first goal which was recognizing informational and educational needs and potentials need for this application, after analyzing the questionnaires created in some main part, it is found that most of the items mentioned in the questionnaire were considered essential with a high percentage, So are used for. As the second goal, the android application is created in android studio programming environment with Java descript. Finally, a QUIS questionnaire was used and the efficacy of the application was assessed according to the users upon good .Conclusion: Using mobile-based applications is a useful way to promote the health of pregnant mothers and to facilitate the access of pre-eclampsia pregnant mothers to information and to obtain the necessary skills in their illness. This program helps pregnant mothers with pre-eclampsia control their disease by observing proper nutrition and principles of treatment to minimize their complications.Message for policymakers: preeclampsia is one of the three main causes of the death of pregnant women. Using mobile-based applications is a useful way to promote the health of pregnant mothers and to facilitate the access of pre-eclampsia pregnant mothers to information and to obtain the necessary skills in their illness. This program helps pregnant mothers with pre-eclampsia control their disease by observing proper nutrition and principles of treatment to minimize their complications.
