The study included (10) local goats, (11) shami goats and (6) Somali goats with different weights and ages in order to study the effect of genetic factors and some of the non-genetic factors of the type of birth, the age and Weight of dam and birth month on daily milk production. The overall mean daily milk production was 1.03 Kg. There was a significant effect (p ≤0.05) for the breed on daily milk production with a local, Shami and Somali average of 1.25 Kg, 0.68 Kg and 0.92 Kg respectively, Non-significant effect of the type of birth on daily milk production and averages of 1.07 and 1.01 Kg for single and twins, respectively. A significant effect was observed (p ≤0.05) for the age of dam on daily milk production, with a mean of 0.78, 1.15 and 1.17 Kg for age 1,2and 3 respectively. There was a significant effect (p ≤0.05) for the month of birth on daily milk production, with a mean of 0.65, 1.16 and 0.95 Kg for month 1, 2 and 3 respectively. There was a significant effect (p ≤0.05) for weight dam on daily milk production, mean 1.05. 1.18 And 0.68 Kg for weight dam less 40 and 40-50 and more than 50 Kg, respectively.
