خلاصه مقاله:
Background: Near 790,000 women are identified with breast cancer annually in the worldwide. Diet has been analyzed in some detail and seems to be associated with breast cancer incidence. Correlation between adult diet and risk of breast cancer development is depicted here. Methods: We searched Medline for studies that investigated the relation between diet and risk of breast cancer from April 2014 to November 2018. Results: We found evidence from previous published studies that intake of vegetables, fruits and related nutrients, vitamin A and carotenoids, vitamin, dietary fiber, folate and vitamin E is negatively associated with breast cancer incidence rate (decreasing the risk of breast cancer).[1-3] We also found evidence from the available reports that Alcohol intake is positively associated with breast cancer incidence rate (increasing the risk of breast cancer).[4] Considering to a previous published study, coffee (caffeinated and decaffeinated coffee) and tea consumption were not related with breast cancer incidence rate. [5] Discussion and conclusion: In the countries with the highest incidence of the breast cancer, the cancer incidence rates are more than eightfold comparing to the countries with the lowest incidence of the cancer. Some of this variation is due to differences in the populations genes. However, environmental factors including dietary factors have a main role in such differences.
