چکیده
Power draw of tumbling millsis high and the optimization studies will be so cost beneficial. There are two conventional ways to study the effect of milling parameters on its performance: discrete element method (DEM) and employing laboratory mills.Former is a time consuming way requiring very advanced computers and the latter is an expensiveand also time consuming option. In the present work a theoretical model is used topredict the mill charge profile and power consumption. The model results are appropriate accordance to the measurements of a laboratory mill. Since the laboratory mill is scale-down of an operating mill in the Sarcheshmeh copper complex, the proposed model can be used to evaluate the power draw of this operating mill.کلیدواژه ها
