چکیده مقاله:

Sometimes in structural analysis the final response of a system is available while neither the mode shape matrix nor the initial sources are known. In this case independent component analysis (ICA) can be implemented to estimate both of them. The present study evaluates the performance of four ICA techniques, namely FastICA, JADE, RADICAL and KernelICA to predict modal properties of systems with and without damping. The investigation indicates that these techniques can successfully estimate the mode shapes and modal coordinates of systems with no damping.
