New advances in congenital disease

During last decade there were great progress in diagnosis and management of CHD. Three and 4 dimensional echocardiography, CT angiography, and MRI are had great improvement in quality and their usage in diagnosis of complex CHD, determination of prognosis and causes of many CHD. Echocardiography machines also had great improvement in diagnosis of CHD in fetus.Denice closure becomes Standard of care in management of PDA, ASD, and various devices designed for VSD closure.Balloon and Stenting angioplasty of COA, peripheral palmary Stenosis and venous obstruction had significant improvement. Prenatal management of fetal Stenotic lesion and medical therapy of fetus also improved significantly.
