خلاصه مقاله:
In this research paper, torsional buckling analysis of a graphene platelets (GPLs) reinforced porous nanocomposite cylindrical shell is carried out in the framework of first-order shear deformation theory (FSDT). It is considered that internal pores and GPLs are scattered both uniformly and functionally graded (FG) along the thickness direction of the shell. Modified Halpin-Tsai micromechanics modelis utilized to approximate effective modulus of elasticity and rule of mixtures to obtain density and Poisson’s ratio of aforementioned shell. Critical buckling torque is calculated applying classical Rayleigh-Ritz method. In numerical calculation, dimensionless parameters are used to the goal of reducing computational complexities. Validation of numerical results of the present study is assessed by comparing them to those reported in the available literature. Additionally, effects of internal porosities and GPLs distribution patterns, GPLsweight fraction, graphene plates dimensional ratios on the torsional behavior of functionally graded graphene plates reinforced composite (FG-GPLRC) porous cylindrical shell are inspected.
