frequency of sexual dysfunction in treated women suffering breast cancer refered to surgical clinic s in tonekabon

introduction and aim: Breast cancer is only( 33.3% )of cancer diseases which women suffer from. Noticing the role of breast in sexual activities , this study investigates the negative effects of suffering from breast cancer and treating it on sexual function . methods: this descriptive study was done on 36 women on the range age of 20-65 had diagnosed with breast cancer about one year ago, then they received treatment , however up to the present time the disease does not relapsed . the findings of interviewing them about their diseases were analyzed through statistical tests. Results: most of the patients were at the range age of 45-55.among them (36.11%) were satisfied with theire sexual relationships,(63.89%)were not , though.( 36.1% ) patients suffered from a type of sexual disorder , at least.there were not find out any significant relations between abundance of sexual dysfunction, education level,habitat, occupation status , menstrual status , contraception way , spouse ‘education level ,spouse’ sexual desire and ability , type of treatment and self confidence . there was a significant relationship between background disease and sexual aroused disorder abuance . Conclusion : p- value > 0.05 reveals lack of difference among patience on the side of sexual disorder abundance .
