Review of battery balancing methods for modern EV applications

In this paper a summary of the approach to reviewing methods for different types of battery boxes, appropriate methods for them and battery balancing are suggested. Moreover, active cell balancing, dissipative resistors, cells balancing charge and discharge, types of batteries with digital balance and the price of digital balancer in per cells are discussed. Also, increasing the use of batteries cause to understand and focus not only on their structure but also on their design, hence, this review presents the battery balancing methods for modern electric vehicle (EV) applications
