چکیده مقاله:

There are different techniques for nanofiber production. what makes electrospinning different from other nanofiber fabrication processes is its ability to form various fiber assemblies. In comparison to others, electrospinning has special advantages. The relationship between high production rate and simplicity of settings makes electrospinning attractive to both academia and industry. Different parameters effect on produced nanofibers quality include: Environmental parameters, Device parameters, Material properties and etc. Environmental parameters include: humidity, temperature and etc. Device parameters include: Collector Design, Distance between Needle Tip and Collector (cm), Applied Voltage (Kv), Flow Rate (ml/h). Several materials are used in electrospinning process such as: polymers, ceramics, composites and metals. All of mentioned parameters effect on nanofibers qualities. Fiber assemblies that can be fabricated include nonwoven fiber mesh, patterned fiber mesh, aligned fiber mesh, random three-dimensional structures and sub-micron spring and convoluted fibers. Nanofibers are used in different Commercial Applications include: Air filtration membrane, Face mask, Water filtration membrane, Cell culture plates, Wound care patch, Drug delivery, DNA, protein, and enzyme delivery and etc. Electrospinning is a cost-effective and versatile technique that has been applied recently for the fabrication of nanofiber structure. There are several challenges in nanofiber production with electrospinning technique. These challenges include: control porosity size, design 3D structure for various application, use of some drugs in electrospun nanofibers, use of cell in electrospinning process, design fiber diameter, presence of device to earn suitable viscosity of solution and etc. In this review, we try to cover different challenges of electrospinning technique.
