چکیده مقاله:

IntroductionSkin tissue damage is a major challenge and a burden on healthcare systems, from burns and other trauma to diabetes and vascular disease. Three-dimensional bioprinting is a layer-based approach to regenerative medicine, whereby cells and cell-based materials can be dispensed in fine spatial arrangements to mimic native tissue.ObjectivesThe aim of this study is research of tissue engineeringandthree-dimensional bioprinting in skin diseasesMethodsWe conducted a literature review using PubMed, EMBASE, and Web of Science for studies on skin 3D bioprinting between 2009 and 2018, evaluating the bioprinting technique, cell source, scaffold type and in vitro and in vivo outcomes.ResultsBioprinting developed with the aim to simplify the steps involved in the mixing of a cell suspension into a highly viscous bio-ink. The most common types of bio-inks consisted of keratinocytes and fibroblasts combined with collagen, although stem cells are gaining increasing recognition. A Laser-assisted deposition was the most common printing modality, although ink-jet and pneumatic extrusions have been tested. This technique has been applied to address the need for skin tissues suitable for transplantation and can lead to the development of skin equivalents for wound healing therapy.ConclusionAs demonstrated in this study, skinbioprinting is a promising approach for patients who have extensive burns and full-thickness skin wounds. Small-scale 3D skin tissue models for cosmetics, drug, and toxicity testing, as well as tumor modeling, are likely to betranslated first before we see this technology used in reconstructive surgery patients
