Combination therapy in grade 2 and 3 burns in the head and face

This case report is about a 2.5-year-old child who has been referred to the Nilsar wound treatment center with a sever burn injury grade 2 and 3 in the head and neck with boiling water.The topic of the report is using the new treatment methods in burning wounds.The main purpose of treatment is to reduce the duration of treatment, reduce the burns complications (burning sensation, pain, secretion, infection), minimizing burns scars, reducing the need for graft.The method used includes hydrotherapy of the surface of the wound and the creation of effective hydro balance and use of antibacterial & antiseptic agents with new dressings (hydro clean plus, silver, PHMB, gel sheath).The result is scar presentation, treatment of infection, reduce discharge, and reduce burning sensation and finally, no need skin graft in Grade 2 and 3 burning wounds with new dressing.
