چکیده مقاله:

The compartment is referred to as a closed space of nerves, muscles and blood vessels. This space is surrounded by fascia (a thick layer of tissue) that is unable to flex and stretch. When there is a significant pressure in this area that causes compression of the nerves, blood vessels and surrounding mosquitoes, it will cause disruption of the medication and oxygen to the muscles and nerves. Compartment syndrome often occurs in the forearm, the lower extremity of the leg. The compartment syndrome can be acute, subacute or chronic.Nursing care:Patient preparation is psychologically important for using an external fixator because the patient is an abnormal and obscure device in the patient s view. He should have assured the patient that the discomfort caused by this device is minor and allows for faster mobility. This description may improve the patient s acceptance. After the external fixator is inserted, a higher limb is required in order to reduce swelling. In order to prevent injury, if sharp points on the fixator or pin There is cork, glue or tape covered. The nurse examines the neuroma of the limb, every 2-4 hours, and evaluates the location of each pin in terms of redness, secretion, tenderness (touch sensitivity), pain and loosening of the pin. The secretion of a small amount of serous fluid from the pins is expected and natural. In order to prevent pins, the nurse will take care of the pins as prescribed. This care essentially involves cleaning the location of each pin individually once or twice a day with cotton tipped applicators and impregnated with chlorhexidine solution. If you have signs of infection or loosening of pins or clamps, you should inform your doctor.
