چکیده
Low birth weight is considered one of the world s most serious health problems that put tremendous pressure on health care system and family. Maternal lifestyle during pregnancy among maternal factors associated with low weight has the most important role on birth weight.Method: The present study was a case-control study performed on 132 neonates in each group. In this study, all babies born with a weight of less than 2500 grams per week are given 37 to 42 pregnancies. The control group included all infants who were born at birth 2500 or higher 37 to 42 weeks of gestation. The criteria for entering the study included birth weight 2500 g or less, fetal age between 42-37 weeks, and single-crowned pregnancy. The data gathering tool in this research was a questionnaire with two parts. The first part was related to the infant s characteristics (sex, weight and gestational age of the newborn) and the second part related to maternal characteristics. Data were analyzed using SPSS software. To investigate the relationship between variables, inferential statistics including chi-square test and logistic regression method were used. Results: In this study, the frequency of education was lower in mothers with lower term neonates (P = 0.024). Normal delivery was reported more frequently among mothers with low birth weight infants (P = 0.0001). Also, the mean BMI and the weight of the beginning of pregnancy and overweight in mothers with term neonates with normal weight were greater (P = 0.0001, P = 0.0001, P = 0.001 and P = 0.0001). The first minute Apgar score - the fifth minute Apgar was lower in dementia with low-birth term infants (P = 0.002 and P = 0.0001). The Mann Whitney U test showed that the gestational age (week) was lower in mothers with low-birth term infants (P = 0.0001). Conclusion: Based on the results, only gestational age (weekly) was found to be medically important in the birth of normal-born neonates, so that the increase in each week of pregnancy in the birth of newborns causes an increase of 11.3% in the normalization of the weight of newborns born has it.کلیدواژه ها
