ARM Processor Architecture (Big.LITTLE)

This architecture was introduced by ARM co. in 2011. In 2012, by introducing 64-bit cores, it has improved this architecture. This architecture has led to energy consumption reduction up to 70 percent in the processors that are based on this architecture, and partly has resolved the problem of high energy consumption in mobile devices. In the architecture, several weaker cores are used along with more powerful cores, and more powerful cores are activated only in the case of need. ARM designs only this processor architecture, and sells the copyright to several companies, including Samsung, Qualcomm, and etc. to use in their own processors like exynos or snapdragon
