چکیده مقاله:
IntroductionCyanobacteria are important sources of secondary metabolites and can produce antibacterial, anti-fungal, and even antiseptic compounds. Due to the extension of microbial resistance, the need for drug research is needed to replace chemical drugs, the most valuable alternatives to which can be secondary antibiotic metabolites of cyanobacteria.Materials and methodsIn this study, Spirulina plateusis and Aphanothecac microspora isolated from Baba Aman Bojnourd were multiplied in a liquid medium of Zarrouks and BG 11 to produce pure organisms. Extraction was performed by soaking the biomass of cyanobacteria in methanol and then the smooth and drying the resulting mixture. In order to investigate the antimicrobial effect of propagation method in acarou, microarrow broth method was used to determine the concentration of inhibitor concentration (MIC).ResultsThe methanolic and aqueous extracts of Aphanothecac microspora had no significant effect on the tested bacteria. The methanolic and aqueous extracts of Spirulina plateusis had a significant effect on the Gram positive and negative bacteria, which had the highest effect on the Staphylococcus epidermidis (ATCC1228) , Then, antibacterial activity was determined against the Gram-negative bacteria of Klebsiella (Clinical isolate), Escherichia coli(ATCC1330) and Pseudomonas aeruginosa (ATCC1074) and MIC.Discussion and conclusionAmong the two species of cyanobacteria, Spirulina plateusis had antimicrobial activity and is therefore a good candidate for the extraction of antimicrobial compounds.
