چکیده مقاله:

The process of liquid-liquid extraction is one of the most important separation Investigation of malic acid ability to partition in polymer/salt aqueous two phase systems has been the main goal of this research. So, three different temperatures 27, 32 and 40ºC were chosen and three different salts with PEG8000 in each temperature were investigated. Two parameters of distribution coefficient and percentage of extraction were calculated for the distribution of malic acid. The results showed that disodium hydrogen phosphate had the highest distribution coefficient and percentage of extraction at 27 ̊C. processes. In the last half century, researchers have focused on liquid-liquid extraction systems for the recovery and purification of biomolecules. Conventional liquid-liquid extraction methods include the use of organic solvents. For example, they are not suitable for the recovery of biomolecules, because most organic materials change their nature. Indeed, aqueous two-phase systems, which are formed by combining two incompatible polymers, or a polymer and a salt in water, are formed due to the high percentage of water in both mild environmental phases for biomolecules. Also, due to selectivity in the separation of biomolecules, stability in a wide range of non-toxicity, non-flammability, continuity of operation, high efficiency, low energy and time have become especially important in recent years. Aqueous two-phase systems, also known as one of the effective methods in the process of protein regeneration for the industrial production of drugs and proteins. The purpose of this study was to investigate the distribution of malic acid in aqueous two-phase systems
