چکیده

In the present study, hollow LaMnO3 nanoparticles have been used as a suitable adsorbent to remove methyl orange (MO) from aqueous solution. First, spherical carbon particles were prepared. Then, by using the prepared carbon, LaMnO3 was prepared with a hollow permeate structure in a hydrothermal method [1-2]. Using calcination gravimetric results, the calcination was performed at 850 ° C for 6 hours. Characterizations of the resulting powders were performed by means of an X-ray diffraction (XRD) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM) (fig.1). The results of the TEM specification show that the composition is composed of hollow peroxide structures. Then, the efficiency of the combination of LaMnO3 as a sorbent was used to remove the water soluble anionic methyl orange dye (MO) dye. The impact of sorbent dosage, initial MO concentration and pH on MO adsorption onto hollow LaMnO3 were studied. The results showed that the adsorbent amount of 0.0056 g, the initial dye concentration of 10 mg / L and the pH value of 2.5 and the temperature of the environment of the removal efficiency of the dye increased. The results of methyl orange removal show that removal of Methyl Orange in acidic solution was more effective and 90% of methyl orange disappear within 15 minutes.
