Zeolite-based photocatalysts were prepared by Sol-gel and deposition methods The photocatalysts were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), nitrogen adsorption isotherms, FTIR, scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and dispersive X-ray spectrometry (EDX) techniques. The activities of prepared photocatalysts were evaluated by the degradation of Acid Blue 92(AB92) under UV irradiation, which is commonly used as textile dye. The effect of parameters such as catalyst concentration initial dye concentration, Thiosulphate concentration and pH on the rate and efficiency of photocatalytic degradation of AB92 were investigated to optimize the operating conditions.
