Introduction: Cancer is an unbelievable and uncomfortable experience for everyone that causes lot of mental and physical discomfort. Cancer related fatigue is one of the most common symptoms of experience with cancer patients during illness or treatment. This study was conducted to determine factors related to fatigue in cancer patients undergoMaterials Methods: This descriptive analytic study has done in 117 patients with cancer treated with chemotherapy in Sayyed Al-Shohada hospital selected through convenience sampling in 1392. Data were collected using Cancer Fatigue Scale (CFS), and demographic characteristics questionnaire and analyzed by descriptive and analytical statistical tests.Results: most of the participant have low fatigue (74.4%) and among the cognitive, physical and emotional dimensions of fatigue, the highest scores of fatigue was related to its physical dimension (mean=15.52). Physical fatigue had direct relation with age (p <0.001) and had revers relation with education (p <0.001). Also, there was significant statistical difference between the mean of fatigue score with gender (p <0.05) and marital status (p <0.001).Conclusion: The results showed that all of participants have experienced fatigue at different levels, and fatigue was higher in elderly, women, and people with low education, divorced and widowed than others. This issue showed the importance of paying attention to these people in curative, supportive and educational programs. In order to achieve this, strategies for overcoming fatigue, or at least reducing it, should be taught with greater attention in the groups mentioned
