Appraisal of the Pumping test data provides useful assessment of the hydraulic parameters such as transmissivity and storativity. The two commonly used methods for pumping data evaluation can be classified on manual and analytical methods. Compared to the analytical methods, the Manual methods are time-consuming and have relatively great uncertainty. Manual methods procedure is based on the matching of the field curve with the standard curve manually and determination of the associated parameters. While in the analytical methods, this adjustment is carried out via suitable software more accurately and fast. In this work, the field date associated with two pumping and two observation wells in the Gol-Gohar mining area which drilled in the limestone formation was examined by manual and analytical methods and their results were compared to each other. Findings show that, the analytical methods have high precision results particularly, in the case of hard rock aquifers which data distribution is significantly scatter.
