چکیده مقاله:
Tetrazoles, being an interesting class of heterocycles, find a wide range of applications as drugs in pharmaceuticals, cis-peptide bond mimics2 and bioisosteres3 for carboxylic acids. They are important precursors in medicinal chemistry owing to their increased resistance towards metabolic degradation pathways and have found increasing applications as catalysts4 in asymmetric synthesis. Tetrazoles have also been utilized in organometallic chemistry as effective stabilizers of metallopeptide structures and as peptide chelating agents [1]. Since the 1980s, the growth of tetrazole chemistry has continued unabated due to its popular functionality with a wide range of pplications . Tetrazoles have found use in pharmaceuticals, specialty eplosives, photography and information recording ystems , not to mention as precursors to a variety of nitrogen containing heterocycles. It has long been known that simpleh eating of azide salt with nitrile in a solution produces the corresponding tetrazole [2]. In this research work, we synthesized some new compounds of alkyl tetrazoles. Therefore, 3,4,5-trimethoxybenzaldehyd (1) in reaction with NH2OH was converted to 3,4,5-trimethoxybenzaldehyde oxime (2). The obtained compound was dehydrated by acetic anhydride to give 3,4,5-trimethoxybenzonitrile (3). Then, 5-(3,4,5-trimethoxyphenyl)-2H-tetrazole(4) was prepared by [2+3] cycloaddition reaction between (3) and NaN3. The structure of all the synthesized compounds were characterized and confirmed by FT-IR and NMR spectroscopy techniques.
