چکیده مقاله:

Background and Aim: We evaluate the molecular, cellular and clinicaleffects of Plant compounds on wound healing. Application of naturalingredients and herbs for treating ulcers has been in the history ofhuman life. Effects of using plant compounds on the healing processwere investigated by the microscopic method, cell counting and TGF-ßgene expression in the wound bed. Nanoemulsion encapsulation ofcomponent within the vesicles, along with the presence of membranechannels to control the entrance of substrate and subsequent exit of theenzymatic reaction product. Methods: Sixty Wistar rats weighing 200-220 gr were placed undergeneral anesthesia and sterile conditions. Square shape wound with1.7×1.7 mm dimension was made on the back of the neck. Rats dividedinto control and experimental groups and to 3 subgroups with 4, 7, and14 days of study. In firstst experimental group Nanoemulsion spray wasused twice on the wound, once in a 2nd experimental group and forpositive control group phenytoin cream 1% was applied daily fromthe surgery days; the control group did not receive any treatment. Forhistological studies, samples were taken from the wound and adjacentskin. This tissue examined for histological staining, then wound surfaceand wound healing were evaluated separately, Also TGF-ß geneexpression by estimated by RT-PCR. Results showed that fibroblasts inboth groups were significantly increased, caused to the acceleration ofwound healing. It concluded that twice application of Nanoemulsionspray will increase TGF-ß gene expression, ultimately accelerate woundhealing process. Results: The macroscopic and microscopic evaluation showed thatwound healing increased because the fibroblast numbers in twoexperimental groups improved compared with the control group. Thepercentage of wound healing on different days in the experimental andcontrol groups were significant. Data were analyzed by using one-wayANOVA test and P< 0.05 was significant. Conclusion: The Present study showed that the twice application oftopical Nanoemulsion spray can result in rapid wound healing in rats.
