General three-dimensional stagnation point flow of a Ti0,-Cu/water hybrid nanofluid

چکیده

The general three-dimensional stagnation point flow and heat transfer of an aqueous titania-copper hybrid nanofluid was studied semi-analytically. It should be notedthat hybrid nanofluid consists two or more types of nanoparticles along with a base fluid and it is used to increase the heat transfer rate. l-lerc, hybrid nanofluid is considered by suspending two different nanoparticles titania ([503, 50 nm) and copper ( Cu, 20 nm) in pure water. An analytical modeling of hybrid nanofluid was presented. before the goveming partial differential equations being transformed into a system of ordinary differential equations using a similarity transformation. The system of ODEs was solved numerically applying a finite difference code through the function bvp4c from MATLAB. The effects of titania and copper nanoparticle voltune fractions ¢1, and ¢2 and also the nodal/saddle indicative parameter c on dimensionless velocities and temperature distribution, skin friction coefficient and local Nusselt number were presented graphically and discussed in details. In this article, the thermal characteristics of hybrid nanofluid were found to be higher in comparison to the base fluid and fluid containing single nanoparticles, respectively.
