Effect of narrow enclosure deviation angle on entropy generation of Ag water nanofluid turbulent natural convection

In this research, the turbulent natural convection of Ag-water nanofluid in a narrow inclined rectangular enclosure has been investigated. The main purpose of this study isfinding the optimized angle of enclosure from the entropy generation point of view with operational boundary condition in cooling from ceiling, which has not been noticed i11 previous studies. The simulations have been gone for an enclosure with deviation angle of 0 to 90°, by using water a11d Ag-water nano fluid with volume fractions of 2% and 4% in Rayleigh numbers of 103 and 10 . The governing equations have been solved by finite volume method based on finite element. The results show that by increasing volume fraction. entropy generation increases. The results indicate at Rayleigh number of 103 the angles of 0° and 75° have respectively the minimum and maximum of entropy generation, while at Rayleigh number of 10 the minimum and maximum of entropy generation are respectively related to the angles of 0° and 90°.
