چکیده

Nowadays, the inference based on censored data is common by many researchers. One of the most common censoring methods is the Type II censoring. In this method, first n units are put on the test and, at the time of the r-th failure time, all (n-r) remaining units will be censored and then the experiment ends. The question that arises here is that what is the best number of units that should put on the test . The responding always starts with It depends on ... . In other words, different answers can be made based on different criteria. One of the most important factors which can be considered is cost limitations. Here, we answer the question by considering the cost constraints, when Rayleigh pattern is considered for the lifetime of the units under the test.
