Background and Objective: Intimate partner violence (IPV) against women introduce as one of the newest social problem which goes beyond the cultural, social and regional boundaries. Also IPV has an unfavorable impact on the life of women in world. In our knowledge, this gap exist on literature review of IPV field that effectiveness of present intervention has not been investigated. Therefore, in order to fill this gap and obtain to useful information concerning effectiveness of interventions in different parts of the world with different cultures, it s necessary that in this area be done systematic studies. So, the aim of the present study was to review of interventions to reduce intimate partner violence in healthy woman. Search Method: The PRISMA declaration for apparent reporting of systematic reviews was followed. The review utilized the Cochrane collaboration method to search several databases. The following databases were searched up to November 2016. Relevant studies had to be published, peer reviewed articles were retrieved using a systematic approach. Databases were included in the search: Magiran, SID, Iran Medex, PubMed, and Cochrane, Science direct, Web of Science, Scopus and Psyinfo. The search strategy was developed and run by an expertise in systematic reviews. In addition database searching, other related information sources were recognized by checking references and citation lists. Only one of the researchers did search the databases. Two independent reviewers examined all studies. Included studies had to be published; peer reviewed that satisfied the a priori determined population (all ages and only healthy female, all countries, all times, and without limit language), intervention (randomized controlled interventions), comparator (all interventions divided into ten categories) and outcome (any study considered for the review had to include a subjective measure of intimate partner violence such as changes will be evaluated by self-reported and objective measure of intimate partner violence such as changes will be evaluated by observational) (PICO). All studies were assessed independently by two independent reviewers using the Cochrane collaboration risk of bias tool. Findings: A total of 22582 recorded were recognized and reviewed. From these references 17 articles met the eligibility for consideration. Studies had used community-based services for victims, batterer intervention programs, screening for IPV. Most studies had used individual-level secondary prevention strategies. Six studies utilized models and theories. Three of community-based services for victims reported that they had significant changes in the outcomes. Four studies which used batterer intervention reported significant changes in the consequences. Three studies with screening for IPV had no achievement in outcomes. Two studies had used coordinated community response and counseling reported had significant changes in some of the consequences. Most of the studies were moderate risk of bias. Conclusion: Facts of the effectiveness of interventions to change in outcomes were varied. There is space to explore issues of interventions addressing reduce intimate partner violence in healthy woman. Further research needed to recognize the role of other interventions and effectiveness of well designed with low risk of bias on key outcomes.
