چکیده
In order to establish a better understanding of the current use and future opportunities of Powder Metallurgy components in modern automobiles, a team of engineers from Höganäs AB has recently stripped back 3 modern vehicles to their component parts. The chosen vehicles represent different geographical market preferences and latest powertrain technologies, including hybrid solutions. As well as discovering the exact content of PM in each vehicle, the team were able to identify numerous components that provide further PM conversion potential.
