خلاصه مقاله:
This paper presents a comparison between the numerical and experimental results of friction aided deep drawing using tapered blankholder divided into four segments. Several parameters including effect of blankholder force, radial displacement of blankholder and punch force on cup height are investigated. The drawing mechanism and the effects of drawing conditions are mainly studied by ABAQUS/Explicit to show the merits of the proposed process. By this technique it is possible to produce a cup with drawing ratio up to 4 only in one die set. Hence, the cost and time of die fabrication in this technique is less than conventional deep drawing.
