Background: Hyperlipidemia is a common problem in today s society that has adverse effects on organs such as the liver and cause structural and functional changes it. Tribulus terrestris due to the effect of antioxidant phenolic compounds which can reduce antioxidant enzymes such as catalase compensation is in patients with hyperlipidemia. Accordingly, the effect of aqueous extract of Tribulus terrestris, we decided on catalase activity in rat liver hyperlipidemia compared.Materials and methods: In this experimental study, 32 male Wistar rats weighing 200-250 g were then divided into 4 groups, were kept in the same conditions. The first group as a control, and to induce hyperlipidemia in the samples 2 to 4, for 2 month high fat diet containing 25% corn oil was used and all specimens were fed with water and food without any restrictions. After two months to track the amount of inducing a state of hyperlipidemia, blood samples were taken from animal ophthalmic vein. The rats were treated with aqueous extract of Tribulus terrestris treatment for two weeks with dose 100 mg / kg were intraperitoneal injection. Finally, work with anesthetized rats and opening the peritoneal cavity, the liver of mice was extracted after homogenization, catalase activity by way Beer and sizer to determine the quantitative data with one-way ANOVA test was analyzed.Results: By measuring the activity of catalase in liver was found that the control group was treated with aqueous extract of Tribulus terrestris brief and insignificant decrease in enzyme activity than the control group, induction of hyperlipidemia after 2 months resulted in a significant reduction in enzyme activity compared to the control (p
